Fifty years of Moss Side, told by the people who stayed
Every interview was filmed in the subject’s own front room, in one chair, with the same lens. The formal repetition is the point: it puts thirty-one lives on exactly equal footing.
We paid every contributor. This is not standard practice in documentary and we think it should be, particularly when a broadcaster is licensing the result.
The full unedited interviews are lodged with the city archive and are open to the public.
